At a year old she should not be using them why have you left toilet training her for so long crate her and keep letting her outside do not use pads
Oh dear — so this is why training pads should NEVER be used in the first place. It is a classic example and I wish you could put that question in the aisle of the pet shop selling them as a deterrent for other potential users.
I believe you really need to start again and start taking her outside as she is starting to look for her pad, but it is going to be a harder job now. You could try moving the pad to outside
Train and praise with nice voices and treats once and a while, if you give too many treats it will not do at you told to without a treat, it’ll learn just keep training
Yes, as someone else said, this is a perfect example of why potty pads are a bad idea.
What you’ll probably need to do is start taking her outside when she’s approaching her pad. Bring it with her and put it on the ground. Do not talk to her, do not look at her. Ignore her until she starts to go and then praise her heavily. This could take a while. Eventually you can phase the pad out.
